The Good Time Radio Variety Show is back with an all-new version! After a successful run in 2021, this modern version of a classic radio variety show returns to Victoria Playhouse with a completely new script and music for 2023 and will be playing from August 2 – 27.
The Good Time Radio Variety Show is an original stage play about a small town PEI radio station doing a live broadcast of their popular weekly variety show. Set in the present day, the story follows a colourful cast of radio personalities as they navigate a series of surprising obstacles during the most important broadcast of their lives. The show must go on, but can it? Filled with hilarious comedy, spine-chilling mystery and glorious live music, it’s always a good time for a good time!

The Road to Belong

Where do we belong? What do we belong to? Why does it matter? A company of 16 Island-based artists took over the farm this September, and explored these questions through theatre, music, dance and arts installations that unfolded in the fields, meadows, gardens and forest of Finally Farm.

It’s always a good time for a good time!

Concert and Fiddle Workshop

For more than three decades, David has enjoyed a double career as a Baroque violinist and Cape Breton fiddler. He has performed, taught, & recorded all over the world, appearing on over 80 albums.
CONCERT: David will be performing works from his recent album Multiple Voices for One. ‘Multiple Voices’ refers not only to playing more than one musical line at a time (melody, harmony, or bassline), but also to the intermingling of different musical aesthetics—Baroque, Cape Breton, and his own original tunes.
WORKSHOP: Come learn some Cape Breton tunes and old-CB fiddle style from David Greenberg, co-author of the popular DunGreen Collection. Now living on the west coast of the USA, David’s visit here is a rare event! This event is geared for fiddlers and violinists, but all are welcome. There is also an option to audit this workshop if you don’t feel ready to leap in and play.
